Playgroup classes offer children aged 0-3 an early social experience and give parents/caregivers the opportunity to meet new people and obtain ideas, strategies, and activities for home use.  Children are able to explore a variety of centres focusing on dramatic play, building, movement, music, art, fine motor, sensory exploration and discovery.  Parents join the children for a closing circle time where children begin to develop the skills they will later draw upon in school.  By having parents actively participate in circle time they are providing positive modeling to their children while learning songs, rhymes, and stories that can be shared again and again at home.

Playgroup classes run from September – June on Fridays from 9:15-10:30 AM and 10:45 AM -12:00 PM, and Saturdays from 10:30-11:45 AM.  The cost is $68/month for the first child and $52/month for the second child.  There is no charge for siblings not yet crawling.  Drop-ins are welcome and may purchase a 5 time punch pass for $100.  Click here to register or call (403) 463-9565.
