Studies show that early childhood experiences establish the foundation on which all later development is based. Room to Grow offers a full range of children’s programs in an environment designed to stimulate a child’s natural curiosity. Babies are given what is often their first social experience in our playgroups. Although they may be shy at first, knowing their caregivers are there to provide a safe base to return to gives them the confidence they need to venture out into this new world. When the child transitions to the preschool program, the familiarity of the setting helps balance new experiences with old.

As the children are confident in their environment they are better able to adapt to the changes preschool brings. This ensures that their first school experience is a positive one and fosters a love of learning that will carry through to their later school years. For those children who require a little extra transition time or for those families who wish to share in the educational experience, we offer a parented preschool program. These classes follow the same format as the independent preschool classes, but allow parents and other loved ones to be present for extra support. Families are a priority for us.

Studies show that parents with a strong support network feel more secure and confident in the decisions they make. As such, we offer a full range of workshops focusing on topics from pregnancy through the school years. We will also offer family events, field trips, mom’s nights out, and Daddy & Me classes to create a sense of community within our members.
